Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Camel trek and Night at Merzouga desert camp
In the morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Errachidia to begin your 2-days tour from Errachidia to Merzouga. Your journey will include a stop for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley, renowned as one of Morocco’s most picturesque valleys.
Continuing onwards, your drive will take you through Aoufous and Erfoud, known for their annual festivals celebrating fossils and dates. You’ll have the option to visit a local fossil craft workshop to witness skilled artisans at work.
Next, your adventure leads to the captivating Erg Chebbi dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes. Upon arrival at the hotel, prepare for an exhilarating camel trek for an hour and a half, allowing you to savor the breathtaking sunset, try sandboarding, capture stunning photographs, and immerse yourself in the serene desert landscape.
As twilight descends, your camel ride continues to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with refreshing mint tea. Erg Chebbi Dunes – Back to Errachidia
The following day, we recommend waking up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise atop the dunes of the Sahara Desert near the camp. After experiencing this magical moment, enjoy a delicious breakfast and refreshing shower at the camp.
Following these serene moments, you’ll embark on your camel ride back to the starting point.
Later, you’ll reunite with your driver as your 2-day tour from Errachidia to Merzouga continues towards Errachidia. Along the way, we’ll visit the traditional weekly market of Rissani, provided it falls on one of its market days (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday). Additionally, we’ll make stops for panoramic views, photo opportunities, and leisure time for lunch.
Arriving in Errachidia in the afternoon, we’ll drop you off at your hotel or the airport, concluding our services.
